We stepped off the trail at Wilderness with full hearts and backpacks full of memories... laughter, renewal, and God's faithful provision. ​ ​ Throughout the week, we watched students rededicate their lives to Christ, others take deeper steps in their faith, and even heard a few graduating seniors say they want to become Young Life leaders when they head to college this fall. ​ After a week of hiking through lightning, rain, and encounters with wildlife, the sweetest part of the trip was checking in with students after their solo time, a 14-hour period spent alone with the Lord. We asked each of them where they experienced God during that time and what would be different when they returned home. One student simply said, "Now I know that Jesus wants a relationship with me."
